Route 66 in Texas crosses the state with an east-to-west direction climbing gradually as it crosses the Texas panhandle and enters the semi-arid region of the High Plains. There are several alignments here, specially across Amarillo. Including the infamous dirt surfaced Jericho Gap and the segment through Conway (Listed in the National Register of Historic Places).

This page includes an Interactive Map of Route 66 in Texas with the alignment of Route 66 across the state and each of the towns and cities that is passes through plus two additional interactive maps with these alignments and links to our detailed pages with in-depth information on each leg across the state with their own collections of maps.
